"Bargain find to Wine ReDesign"!

As a designer who specializes in restyling and redesign, I am always on the lookout for bargain finds.  On one of my trips to a local Habitat for Humanity Restore, I found this $15 entertainment cabinet and a light bulb went off.  I have been looking for something to use as a bar/ beverage center that would compliment my Kitchen eating area.  I was so excited about the condition that I didn't think one moment about the weight.  Trying to move the piece into the house was a beast!  It took four of us to get the cabinet up the front steps on a dolly and into the house.  It was not until I began priming the cabinet that I realized it was a "Broyhill" brand, which made this find even more of a bargain for such a quality piece.  I did my usual visual inspection and got to work on carrying out my vision.  I enlisted my husband's assistance to anchor the cabinet to a stud in the wall.  The height and weight along with the addition of glass and other items created some concerns.  Safety First!  Once anchoring was complete, I was ready to go!  What I love about a project is that I can visualize the end result before its complete.  I ordered a few items that needed to be installed and used some leftover granite I had from a previous project.  This project required primer, paint, cut granite, a wine rack (bargain deal at just $12), and a small wine fridge to complete the redesign.   When all the finishes were added this project went from "Bargain find to Wine ReDesign"!
